Stuart Sprague, PhD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Horticulture at Kansas State University (K-State), holding a 60% teaching and 40% research appointment. He co-advises the Horticulture club and teaches courses in plant propagation and plant identification. His research focuses on improving abiotic stress tolerance in ornamental and food crops to enhance productivity under suboptimal conditions.

Research interests include optimizing crop resilience through genetic engineering and environmental stress physiology. His work aims to reduce water usage and improve yield in challenging environments.
