Stina Bratt is a Juris Doctor (jur. dr) and Senior Lecturer in Civil Law at Stockholm University, affiliated with the Department of Law. She serves as Head of the Research Department in General Property Law at the Stockholm Centre for Commercial Law (SCCL).
- PhD in Civil Law (2023) focusing on alternative claim paths in tort law within contractual relationships.
- Recipient of the Sven Unger Company Law Scholarship (2023) for postdoctoral research on discharge from liability in Swedish company law.
- Currently conducting externally funded research projects: Insurability of Sustainability Risks and Board Responsibility in Financial Companies (granted by the Swedish Foundation for Legal Research in 2024).
Her research spans contract law, tort law, association law, insurance law, and civil procedural issues, particularly arbitration law. Her publications and presentations highlight complex liability interactions in sales, construction, and transportation contracts, alongside international comparative analyses. She has taught courses in Commercial Contract Law, Tort Law, Construction Law, and Insurance Law for Actuaries.
