Steven Salterio is a Professor and Stephen J.R. Smith Chair of Accounting and Auditing at the Smith School of Business, Queen's University. He holds a PhD (University of Michigan, 1993) and BCom (Mount Allison University, 1982). His research focuses on auditing, governance, and field research methods, particularly in auditor-client negotiations and balanced scorecard applications. He serves as Editor of The Accounting Review and has held editorial roles in multiple journals.
