Scientia Professor Ken Trotman is a Professor of Accounting at the University of New South Wales (UNSW), affiliated with the Business School's School of Accounting, Auditing, and Taxation. He previously served as Head of the School of Accounting from 1991 to 2000. His research focuses on judgment and decision-making in auditing, with particular emphasis on auditor judgments and audit quality. He holds degrees from UNSW (BCom, MCom, PhD) and is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (FCA), CPA Australia (FCPA), and the Academy of Social Sciences (FASSA).
Research interests include audit skepticism, CSR reporting, audit committees, and professional judgment.
