Steven Poelhekke

Steven Poelhekke is a Professor of International Environmental Economics at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam), affiliated with the Department of Spatial Economics within the School of Business and Economics. His research focuses on labor market dynamics, economic cycles, and resource economics, particularly in the context of environmental policy and global development.

Affiliations include the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR), CESifo Group Munich, Oxford Centre for the Analysis of Resource Rich Economies (OxCarre), and Tinbergen Institute.
