Steven Landry is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Industrial Engineering at Purdue University's College of Engineering. Prior to joining Purdue in 2005, he worked as a research engineer at NASA's Ames Research Center, contributing to air traffic management systems.

His research focuses on human factors in aeronautics and air traffic control, with publications in IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems and conference proceedings of HFES, IEEE, AIAA, and international conferences. He developed the Multi-center Traffic Management Advisor system at NASA, enabling nationwide air traffic capacity improvements.
Dr. Landry is affiliated with Sigma Xi, IEEE Systems, Man, and Cybernetics Society, AIAA, and the Cognitive Science Society. His professional experience includes over 2,000 heavy jet flight hours as a C-141B pilot with the U.S. Air Force (1988–1996).
