R. John Hansman, Jr. is the T. Wilson Professor of Aeronautics and Astronautics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He directs the International Center for Air Transportation and heads the Division of Humans and Automation. His leadership extends to chairing the FAA Research Engineering & Development Advisory Committee.
