Steven E. Pegalis

Steven E. Pegalis is a Distinguished Adjunct Professor of Law at New York Law School (NYLS) and a member of the NYLS Board of Trustees. He has taught the Medical Malpractice course at NYLS for over 20 years while maintaining an active career as a trial attorney specializing in medical liability and tort cases since the 1960s. He is the author of the three-volume legal treatise The American Law of Medical Malpractice (3rd Edition) and has contributed extensively to legal publications.
