Steven Buckner is a Professor in the Department of Chemistry at Saint Louis University, affiliated with the School of Science and Engineering. He holds a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of California, Riverside (1983), and a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Purdue University (1988).
His research focuses on developing novel nanomaterials and nanocomposites with applications in energy science (high energy density materials for hydrogen production and pyrolants) and biomedical materials (micro-CT imaging and tissue engineering).
