Steve Fuller is the Auguste Comte Professor of Social Epistemology in the Department of Sociology at the University of Warwick, where he has been affiliated since 1999. He founded the field of social epistemology and established the journal Social Epistemology in 1987. His research examines the future of universities, intellectual property, interdisciplinary science, and the societal implications of emerging technologies, particularly regarding the future of humanity ('Humanity 2.0').
Education includes:
- Columbia University: BA in History & Sociology
- University of Cambridge: M.Phil in History and Philosophy of Science
- University of Pittsburgh: PhD in History and Philosophy of Science
Fuller leads research on transhumanism and epistemological transformations, with affiliations at the Breakthrough Institute (Senior Research Fellow) and Institute for Ethics and Emerging Technologies (Affiliate Scholar). He has authored 25 books translated into 20+ languages and lectures globally.

Supervises PhD students and teaches courses including Social Theory of Law, Sociology of Knowledge, and Media Sociology. Directs the Politics and Social Theory MA program.
