Stephen Tonks

Stephen Tonks is a Senior Lecturer at Staffordshire University's Institute of Policing. With over 30 years of policing experience, he previously served in roles such as Detective Chief Inspector, Senior Investigation Officer, and Head of the Statutory and Major Crime Review Unit across West Midlands Police, West Mercia Police, and Warwickshire Police. He specializes in serious crime investigations, family liaison, and leadership development.
