Stephen Shiver is a Professor and Interim Chair at Augusta University's Medical College of Georgia, holding appointments in the Department of Emergency Medicine. He has been a faculty member since 2005 and was promoted to Professor in 2014. Dr. Shiver serves as Vice Chair of Clinical Operations and previously as Residency Program Director for 9 years (2008-2017).

His research interests center on point-of-care ultrasonography and emergency cardiology/ECG interpretation, with a focus on clinical applications and diagnostic accuracy.
