معرفی
Stephen Lee, Ph.D., is a Professor in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the Miller School of Medicine, University of Miami. He is also a Member of the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, focusing on tumor microenvironment mechanisms.
- Education: Ph.D. from McGill University (1994)
Research Interests involve stress-induced long noncoding RNAs, phase transitions, and physiological amyloidogenesis in cancer and neurological disorders. His work examines how hypoxia and acidosis reprogram cellular pathways, including alternative translation machinery and noncoding RNA regulation.
Recent Publications (2022–2024) highlight his contributions to ribosomal RNA biogenesis, RNA tailing in amyloid transitions, and condensate dynamics in cancer.
