Stephen De Wijze is a Senior Lecturer in Political Theory at the University of Manchester. His work focuses on ethics, political theory, and the philosophical analysis of evil and moral dilemmas in politics. He holds a PhD from the University of Sheffield and has taught at Rhodes University and the University of Sheffield. His research explores 'dirty hands' in political action, in-bello proportionality, and secular accounts of evil.
