Stephen D. Nimer, M.D., is a Professor of Medicine, Biochemistry, and Molecular Biology at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. He serves as Director of Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, Executive Dean for Research, and holds the Oscar de la Renta Endowed Chair in Cancer Research. His leadership roles include steering Sylvester to NCI designation and advancing cancer care in South Florida.
