Stephanie Russo is an Associate Professor of Literature at Macquarie University's School of Humanities, affiliated with the Department of Media, Communications, Creative Arts, Language, and Literature. She specializes in historical fiction across film, television, theatre, and literature, with a focus on anachronisms, temporal representation, and early modern women's writing. Her research bridges eighteenth-century studies with contemporary media, analyzing how historical narratives engage with politics, gender, and power.
Education: Holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education from Macquarie University (2015). Teaching includes courses on historical fiction, literary analysis, and research methodologies.
