Her research methods include feminist literary recovery, textual analysis, and canon formation studies.
Current work investigates metahistorical biofiction and temporal politics in women's writing. She co-edits the Gender Studies in Wales series and The International Journal of Welsh Writing in English, contributing significantly to Welsh literary scholarship.
Professor Wallace teaches modules on Gothic literature, historical fiction, and modernism while supervising graduate research on women's writing and Welsh literary traditions.
