Stephanie Robinson

Stephanie Robinson, PhD, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Counseling at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke (UNC-P). She holds dual licenses as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Specialist (LCMHCS) and Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist (LCAS), and certifications including CCS (Certified Clinical Supervisor), AADC (Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor), and NCC (National Certified Counselor). Dr. Robinson serves as Vice Chair and Chair of the Standards Committee for the North Carolina Addictions Specialists Professional Practice Board (NCASPPB), and as an IC&RC Subject Matter Expert and AADC Credential Co-Chair on the International Certification & Reciprocity Consortium (IC&RC) Board of Directors. Her research focuses on addiction counseling education and licensure policy reform.
