Dr. Stephanie Roberts is a Senior Lecturer at the Westminster Law School, University of Westminster. She holds an LLB (Hons) from UNL, an LLM in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the London School of Economics (LSE), and a PhD from LSE on 'The decision-making process of the criminal division of the Court of Appeal.' Her teaching roles include leading modules on Advanced Criminal Law and core Criminal Law, with recognition for excellence via a 2007 University Teaching Fellowship and multiple Student Union awards.

Her research focuses on criminal appeal systems, miscarriages of justice, and the intersection of criminal law with popular culture. She leads research ethics in her Law School and sits on university-wide teaching and quality committees.
Dr. Roberts has refereed for journals including Legal Studies and Sydney Law Review, and contributes to Westlaw’s Insight encyclopedia on miscarriages of justice. She collaborates in the Centre for Law, Society and Popular Culture, exploring criminal law’s cultural impact.
