Stephanie Preston is a Senior Lecturer in Tourism and Events and Programme Leader for Tourism and Aviation at the University of Sunderland’s Sunderland Business School. She holds a PhD in Business Management (2023) from Newcastle University, focusing on stress and burnout in UK aviation cabin crew. Her academic journey began as a mature student in Teesside, progressing through a BA (Hons) in Tourism Management, an MA in Human Resource Management, and teacher training certifications.
- Affiliations: Programme Leader, Module Leader, Major Project Supervisor, and Personal Tutor at the Hospitality, Events, Aviation and Tourism Department.
- Research Focus: Employee wellbeing in aviation, HR leadership, and service sector stress management.
