Sean Owens

Sean Owens is a Senior Lecturer and Programme Leader for the BA (Hons) International Tourism Management and BA (Hons) Tourism Management programmes at the Manchester Metropolitan University Business School. With a 25-year international career in hospitality and tourism, he has held roles spanning hotel management in Greece, sustainable tourism strategy development at TUI Group, and consultancy work through his business 'Thinking Tourism'. His expertise focuses on responsible tourism and sustainable development, emphasizing minimizing negative environmental and social impacts in tourism supply chains.
