- Research focuses on adaptive immunology, host-directed therapies, and immune dysfunction in infectious/autoinflammatory diseases
- Active projects include influenza-associated pulmonary aspergillosis, chronic mucocutaneous candidiasis, and immune profiling in transplant patients
- Uses cutting-edge technologies like systems vaccinology, spectral flow cytometry, and targeted proteomics
- Key collaborations with transplant centers, critical care units, and autoinflammatory disease consortia
Her recent publications reveal trends in:
- Viral-fungal co-infections (influenza + aspergillosis)
- Immune checkpoint modulation (IFN-γ inhibition)
- Genetic basis of immunodeficiencies
- Neuroimmunology of neurodegenerative disease
- Vaccine response in immunocompromised populations
She contributes to clinical education in immunology through courses like Clinical Mechanisms of Immunology & Immunotherapy and Advanced Immunology.
