Prof. Stephan Mösch is a Professor at the Karlsruhe University of Music, specializing in Music Theatre Studies. He holds a dual habilitation in musicology and theatre studies, focusing on music theatre. His career includes chair positions at the University of Bayreuth and teaching roles at institutions like the University of Zurich and Seoul's Korean National University of Arts. He has led international projects such as the FWF-funded 'Opera between Hermeneutics and Performativity'.
Education: Dual degrees in music, theatre & literature from Berlin/Stuttgart; masterclasses with renowned figures like Elisabeth Schwarzkopf. Awards include the Domgraf-Fassbaender Prize and Gottlob Frick Medal (for Opernwelt). Scholarships from German National Academic Foundation and Richard Wagner Foundation.
