Christiane Libor

Christiane Libor serves as Professor and Head of the Voice Department at Karlsruhe University of Music, concurrently holding the position of Prorector (Vice Rector). Born in Berlin, she graduated with distinction from the Hanns Eisler Academy of Music after studying under Kammersängerin Prof. Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau, Prof. Julia Varady, and Kammersängerin Brigitte Fassbaender.

Her research focuses on vocal development techniques and historical interpretation of Germanic repertoire, informed by decades of stage experience at premier venues including Hamburg State Opera, Berlin State Opera, and Opéra de Paris.
