Stella Frame (she/her/hers) is a sessional instructor in the Faculty of Law at Thompson Rivers University and currently serves as a Justice of the Provincial Court of British Columbia, sitting in Kamloops. She returned to her hometown after practicing litigation in Vancouver, specializing in commercial and insolvency law. Her judicial role involves adjudicating criminal, family, child protection, and civil cases.
Stella graduated from the University of Victoria Law School and has contributed extensively to legal professional organizations. She co-founded the BC Woman Lawyers Forum, the first of its kind in Canada, and held leadership roles in the Canadian Bar Association, including chairing the Equality Committee and serving on provincial council. Additionally, she has coached youth sports teams and remains active in community legal education through her teaching and judicial work.
