Stefano Mazzilli Daechsel is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Oslo, affiliated with the Faculty of Law. He holds a joint doctorate in Cultural and Global Criminology from the University of Kent and Universität Hamburg. His research critically examines the intersection of technology and society, focusing on digital criminology, surveillance studies, and the philosophy of technology. Research Interests: Stefano’s work spans Digital Criminology, Surveillance Studies, Science and Technology Studies, and Philosophy of Technology. He investigates how emerging technologies reshape crime, regulation, and social control, with a particular focus on maker cultures and digital fabrication tools like 3D printers.
