Stefano Bonini is an Associate Professor of Finance at Stevens Institute of Technology and a SDA Fellow of Entrepreneurial Finance at Bocconi University. His research spans financial economics, corporate finance, entrepreneurial finance, and digitization in finance.

He explores how behavioral biases affect investment strategies (Buy the dip?), homophily in merger negotiations, and the comparative roles of business angels and crowdfunding in startup financing.
His recent publications (2022–2024) emphasize trends in empirical finance, digital finance, and entrepreneurial funding mechanisms. Key themes include market dynamics, FinTech, and strategic decision-making in finance.
