Stefani Langol is a full-time Professor in the Department of Music Education at Berklee College of Music, serving as the technology coordinator for the department. She also holds an MECA Instructor role at VanderCook College of Music and teaches across multiple disciplines including Pro Music, Liberal Arts, Electronic Production and Design, and online platforms. Her expertise spans music education technology, curriculum development, and educator training.
Stefani has extensive experience designing technology training programs for K-12 and higher education music educators, delivering both in-person and online sessions. She has authored several graduate-level courses for VanderCook's MECA program and the University of the Arts Summer Music Institute since 2015. Her professional affiliations include ambassador roles for MusicFirst and membership on their Teacher Advisory Panel, focusing on cloud-based educational tools.
From 1997 to 2005, she served as editor-in-chief of the TI:ME newsletter and as Technology Column Editor for Massachusetts Music News from 2004-2016. She has co-authored the 'Alfred Music Tech Series' and contributed numerous articles to journals such as Music Educators Journal and Music Education Technology Magazine. Her work emphasizes integrating technology into music education and fostering innovative teaching practices.
