Stefan Oppl

Univ.-Prof. Dipl.-Ing. Dr. Stefan Oppl, MBA, is the Dean of the Faculty of Education, Arts and Architecture at the University for Continuing Education Krems. His work focuses on educational technologies, digital transformation in higher education, and validation of non-formal/informal learning. He leads major projects like DigiFit4All and CodeAbility Austria, addressing digital competencies and programming education. His research spans adaptive teaching frameworks, pandemic-era educational practices, and hybrid learning for marginalized communities. He has authored/co-authored textbooks on validation mechanisms in academia and publishes in journals like Technology, Knowledge and Learning and Thinking Skills and Creativity.
