Stefan LINDER is a Professor in the Department of Accounting and Management Control at ESSEC Business School, France. He holds a Ph.D. from Copenhagen Business School and a doctoral degree from WHU Otto Beisheim School of Management. His academic career (2011–present) includes progressive roles from Assistant to Full Professor, with leadership as Head of Department (2022–2025). He teaches at BBA, Grande Ecole, Executive MBA, and Ph.D. levels, including courses like Strategic Cost Management and Performance Management in the Digital Era.
His research bridges management control, entrepreneurship, and well-being, focusing on topics such as ethical control systems, strategic responsiveness, and corruption resistance.
