Jan Lampe

Jan Lampe is an Assistant Professor at ESSEC Business School in the Department of Accounting and Management Control. He holds a Doctorate in Management Control from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management (2023), a Master of Science in Economics and Management from Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam (2014), and a Bachelor in International Economics and Development from Universität Bayreuth (2012).

His research focuses on management control, performance evaluation, and the application of analytics and AI in controlling. He has presented work at major international conferences including the European Accounting Association Congress and Conference on New Directions in Management Accounting.
