Stavros Stivaros

Prof Stavros Stivaros is a Professor and Director of Imaging at the Division of Informatics, Imaging & Data Sciences at The University of Manchester. Clinically, he serves as an Honorary Consultant Paediatric Neuroradiologist at the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital, leading the paediatric neuro-radiological imaging unit. His research focuses on advancing multi-parametric brain imaging techniques for children and developing decision support systems for clinical translation. He holds a National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Clinician Scientist Award, aiming to optimize hydrocephalus assessment and reduce NHS costs through non-invasive imaging.
