Stacy Nowak is a Lecturer II in the Communication Studies department at Gallaudet University, within the Civic Leadership, Business and Social Change school. She holds a Ph.D. in Deaf Education along with multiple master's and bachelor's degrees in related fields. Her pedagogical focus revolves around Deaf student athletes, Deaf sports advocacy, and inclusive classroom practices. Dr. Nowak has been actively involved in national and international initiatives promoting Deaf sports and women's empowerment.
