Dae-Kun Kim is an Assistant Professor in the English Program at Gallaudet University, specializing in the use of graphic novels and manga to enhance literacy among Deaf students. He holds a PhD in Critical Studies in the Education of Deaf Learners from Gallaudet, alongside degrees in Deaf Education and Information Technology. His research focuses on fostering reading interest in Deaf elementary students through graphic novels and examines their broader implications in education.
