Dr. Stacey Links is a Lecturer at Leiden University, affiliated with the Humanities Institute for Area Studies (HIAS). She holds a PhD from Utrecht University's Department of Law, Governance, and Economics, focusing on the human rights dimension of Sino-African relations. Her research emphasizes South-South cooperation, postcolonial frameworks, and African agency in global policy. She concurrently serves as a research fellow at the LeidenAsiaCentre and a non-resident fellow at the African Policy Research Institute (Berlin). She is also on the editorial board of the Cross-Cultural Human Rights Review.
Her work bridges academia and policy, advocating for African-centered approaches in international policy-making. She teaches International Studies, Asian Studies, Chinese Studies, and Global Political Economy at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
