Spike W. S. Lee is an Associate Professor cross-appointed between the Rotman School of Management (Marketing Area) and the Department of Psychology (Social/Personality Area) at the University of Toronto. His research focuses on the psychological mechanisms underlying political ideology, moral judgment, social class dynamics, and the impact of digital technology on cognition.

The lab employs diverse methods including meta-analysis, psychophysical assessment, behavioral economic games, and large-scale text analysis to investigate how sensorimotor processes interact with abstract thinking in sociopolitical contexts. Recent work explores affective polarization, moral foundations in child language development, and antiscience attitudes.
