Dr. Jessica Curtis is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology and Counseling at Arkansas State University's College of Education & Behavioral Science. She coordinates the M.S. in Psychological Science program and teaches courses ranging from introductory psychology to advanced research methods and professional writing.

She leads the Motivation and Social Influence Lab (MSI Lab), which investigates topics such as video games, daydreaming, and identity fusion.
The MSI Lab's publications demonstrate a focus on cognitive psychology, social psychology, and behavioral science. Recent work (2021-2023) examines motivation intensity variability, ego depletion replication, and goal perception dynamics, while earlier studies (2011-2018) investigate self-control, identity formation, and moral psychology taxonomies.
