Sophia A. Stone is an Associate Professor of Philosophy at Lynn University, affiliated with the College of Arts and Sciences. She specializes in ancient philosophy, Greek mathematics, and public philosophy, with a focus on Plato’s metaphysics and its intersections with mathematics. Her work bridges academic scholarship and community engagement through initiatives like the Wisdom’s Edge Foundation and Philosophy for Children (p4cHI). She holds a B.A. from UC Berkeley, an M.A. from Dominican School of Philosophy and Theology, and a Ph.D. from Purdue University.
