Sonya Kaleel is a consultant, transformational leader, and founder of The Inclusion Practice, dedicated to advancing equity and inclusion through organizational change. She serves as faculty for Northwestern University’s Leading Equity & Inclusion in Organizations Certificate (LEIOC) program. With an MS in Learning & Organizational Change from Northwestern, her work integrates global perspectives from living across North America, Europe, and SWANA regions.
Education:
- MS in Learning & Organizational Change, Northwestern University
Research & Practice: Focuses on leveraging leadership development and social justice frameworks to disrupt systemic inequities. Her work emphasizes intersectional approaches, centering liberation and allyship for marginalized identities, including her roles as an Arab American, later-in-life parent, and spouse in a multiracial family.
Advising & Impact: Guides organizations globally to implement everyday inclusion strategies. Collaborates with institutions like Northwestern’s SESP through the LEIOC program.
Labs/Teams: The Inclusion Practice (consultancy) and academic contributions to Northwestern’s Learning and Organizational Change department.
