Terrence Roche is an Instructor in the MS in Learning and Organizational Change Program at Northwestern University’s School of Education and Social Policy. He concurrently serves as Vice President of Professional Services at The Ounce of Prevention Fund, a national nonprofit focused on early childhood education. His professional background includes leadership roles at Kellen (global professional services), YMCA of the USA, and Cintas Corporation, with expertise in strategy, program evaluation, and operational excellence.
Roche holds an MS in Learning and Organizational Change from Northwestern University and a BS in Management from Tulane University. His research interests revolve around scaling early childhood workforce development, nonprofit operational strategies, and applying organizational change frameworks to social impact initiatives. He teaches courses at both SESP and Northwestern’s Philanthropy and Nonprofit Organization Certificate Program.
Prior military service as a U.S. Marine Corps Officer included deployment to Afghanistan. Roche is actively involved in community initiatives like Race Conscious Dialogues and has contributed to grant-funded projects across education and nonprofit sectors.
