Sonia Alemagno is the Dean and Professor of Health Policy & Management at Kent State University's College of Public Health. Previously, she served as Director of the Institute for Health and Social Policy and Chair of Public Administration and Urban Studies at the University of Akron. Her research focuses on substance abuse and HIV/STD prevention within criminal justice settings, including prisons and detention centers.
