Using critical race and intersectionality theories, she analyzes social inequality and policy practices. Her 2023-2018 publications highlight topics like women's empowerment in the Global South, migrant integration, and systemic racism.
Recent studies reveal a focus on migrant integration policies, racialization dynamics, and cross-border marriage migrants' experiences. Her work combines comparative analysis and mixed methods to address social inequality and multiculturalism in Korea.
