Dr. Snigdha Misra is an Associate Professor at the Jeffrey Cheah School of Medicine and Health Sciences, Monash University Malaysia. She is a trained Nutritionist with extensive experience in academic leadership, curriculum design, and public health nutrition research. Her work spans maternal and child health, geriatric nutrition, and sustainable dietary patterns across the lifespan.

Her research focuses on Public Health Nutrition, particularly gestational diabetes, micronutrient deficiencies, glycemic index, and geriatric nutrition. She has led community initiatives, including a project on umami and elderly appetite that won international awards. Her recent publications (2022–2024) reflect a strong focus on nutrient profiling of plant-based and animal-based foods, food security among adolescents, and sustainable consumption in Malaysia.

She has also contributed to national nutrition planning in Malaysia as a member of the National Nutrition Plan (RMK11).
She has held leadership roles in academic development, including Faculty Development programs on mentoring, small group teaching, and curriculum design. Her work contributes to UN Sustainable Development Goals related to health and education.
