Dr. Amutha Ramadas is an Associate Professor at the Jeffrey Cheah School of Medicine & Health Sciences, Monash University Malaysia. She holds a PhD in Public Health from Monash University and a Master's in Applied Statistics from the University of Malaya. Her research focuses on public health, clinical and community nutrition, health behavior change, and biostatistics, with a particular emphasis on metabolic disease prevention and management.

She contributes to national initiatives like the Malaysian Dietary Guidelines for Vegetarians and leads projects on deaf healthcare accessibility and obesity-mental health pathways.
Grants & Collaborations:
She collaborates on funded projects including studies on postbiotics for IBS, gut microbiome roles in epilepsy, and mental health literacy for the Deaf community. She has secured grants for pharmacy automation and community pharmacy services integration.
Awards:
Recipient of the 2021 Prize for anti-NRP2 antibody research and the 2022 award for developing Intake24 dietary tracking in Malaysia.
