Dr. Sjors Ligthart is an Assistant Professor at Tilburg University and Postdoctoral Researcher at Utrecht University's School of Law, affiliated with the Willem Pompe Institute for Criminal Law and Criminology. He earned his Master's (2016) and Doctoral degrees (2021) in Criminal Law cum laude from Tilburg University, with doctoral research focusing on human rights implications of neurotechnology in criminal justice.
