Sinan Goral

Sinan Goral is an Adjunct Professor at Carnegie Mellon University, teaching at both the Human-Computer Interaction Institute and School of Architecture. He holds a Master of Design Studies in Technology (MDes) from Harvard University Graduate School of Design and a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) from Carnegie Mellon University. Currently a Senior Product Designer at HubSpot, he specializes in data integration tools and reporting systems for Data Operations. Previously, he designed decision-grade data products for the U.S. Department of Defense and industrial automation tools for engineers. His teaching focuses on speculative design, product/interaction design, physical computing, and design research.

He advises thesis projects for undergraduate and graduate students across the University and has experience spanning startups to Fortune 500 companies. His work emphasizes data-rich experiences that empower user action, with notable contributions to health and fitness technology for athlete recovery and defense systems analysis.
