John Beck

John Beck is an Adjunct Professor in the School of Design at Carnegie Mellon University. He currently serves as the Director of Product Design at Truefit, a software product development firm in Pittsburgh, where he leads design operations for cross-functional teams working with startups and enterprises in robotics, healthcare, industrial, and financial services sectors. Previously, he co-founded Gist Design, a UX consultancy serving clients like McDonald’s, Samsung, and Rolls-Royce, and contributed to the early stages of wearable computing pioneer BodyMedia.
