Simon Mosey is a Professor of Entrepreneurship & Innovation at the University of Nottingham Business School, leading the Haydn Green Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship. He also serves as a Visiting Professor at Ghent University and is the editor of the Journal of Technology Transfer. Mosey holds a BSc from Loughborough University, a PhD and PGCHE from the University of Nottingham.
His research focuses on technology entrepreneurship, entrepreneurship education, and fostering innovation cultures. He has authored influential books like Ingenuity in Practice and Building an Entrepreneurial Organisation, and his work appears in top-tier journals such as Entrepreneurship Theory & Practice and Research Policy.
Mosey chairs the award-winning Your Entrepreneurs Schemes and Ingenuity Impact, which have trained over 6,000 academic researchers and supported 4,500+ social entrepreneurs. His professional experience includes roles at Akzo Nobel and Courtaulds.
His current projects explore responsible entrepreneurship, social/organizational/environmental innovation, and the role of universities in fostering entrepreneurial ecosystems. He actively engages in executive education programs and community initiatives to bridge academic research with practical innovation.
