Simon Addyman is an Associate Professor in Project Management at University College London's Bartlett School of Sustainable Construction. With over 30 years of industry experience spanning the UK, Gambia, and Balkans, he focuses on organizational routines, temporary organizing, and dialogue in construction project management. He is Programme Director for UCL's MSc in Project and Enterprise Management and a Visiting Lecturer at King's College London since 2018.

His research integrates pragmatist process theory and practice theory to analyze construction projects as entangled networks, emphasizing language use, lifecycle transitions, and wellbeing in Modern Methods of Construction (MMC). He founded the Centre for Construction Project Organising (CCPO) at UCL and collaborates with industry stakeholders including HS2, Highways England, and the Infrastructure and Projects Authority.
