Silvio Ceschini

Silvio Ceschini serves as an Instructor of Professional Practice in the Hospitality & Tourism Management department at Oklahoma State University's Spears School of Business. He has held this position since August 2021 and is actively involved in teaching and departmental outreach initiatives.

His educational background includes an MS in Hospitality Administration from Oklahoma State University (2005) and a BA in Business Administration from the University of the Latin American Educational Center in Rosario, Argentina (1998). He holds professional certifications including Certified Hospitality Educator (CHE) from the American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute and ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification.

Dr. Ceschini's research and teaching focus on practical aspects of hospitality management, with particular expertise in restaurant operations, food and beverage management, and event planning. His work bridges academic theory with industry practice, emphasizing hands-on learning experiences for students. He has developed field trip programs for Career Technology Centers to promote hospitality education and has been recognized for his teaching excellence with multiple awards.
